Carpenter - Full Time Position


The role

You will play a key role on site, working alongside our team while helping manage workflow and maintain the high standards Dalkeith Construction is known for.


Key responsibilities

  • General carpentry across residential building projects

  • Framing, lock-up, fix-out and finishing carpentry

  • Reading and interpreting construction plans

  • Leading and coordinating trades and apprentices

  • Managing daily site workflow and keeping projects on schedule

  • Ensuring work meets quality and safety standards

  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe job site

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate III in carpentry

  • Drivers license and reliable transport

  • White card (not essential)

  • Own tools

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong carpentry skills with attention to detail

  • Good knowledge of construction materials and techniques

  • Good problem solving skills and adaptability

  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual labour
