About the role

Fleet Hire & Sales is seeking an experienced MR Truck Driver to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Dural, NSW 2158. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring the safe, timely and efficient delivery of deisel across Sydney. This role is essential to maintaining Fleet Hire & Sales' reputation for reliable and professional delivery service.

Key responsibilities

• Operating heavy trucks safely and professionally in compliance with all relevant road transport legislation and regulations

• Communicating professionally with customers onsite and management regarding delivery status and any issues

• Adhering to fatigue management regulations and maintaining safe driving practices at all times

• Performing routine vehicle maintenance tasks and reporting any mechanical issues promptly

• Contributing to a positive and safety-conscious workplace culture

What we're looking for

• Current Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver's Licence valid in Australia

• Proven experience as a professional truck driver.

• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations, fatigue management laws and transport compliance requirements

• Excellent driving record with a strong commitment to safe driving practices

• Ability to read maps, plan routes and use GPS navigation systems

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work

• Current or willingness to obtain relevant medicals and certifications as required by transport regulations
