About the Company

AC Hargreaves is an organisation based in Seventeen Mile Rocks, Brisbane who specialise in the supply, rewinding and refurbishment of Electric Motors, Pumps, and Transformers. We service a wide range of industries including mining, food processing, manufacturing, transportation and the energy sector. Due to our continued growth, we currently have a position available for a permanent full time Industrial Spray Painter / Trade Assistant.

About the Role:

This position will be responsible for the assisting our current personnel with the repair of electric motors which includes preparing surfaces and painting, cleaning parts, fitting, and general cleaning of the workshops with the opportunity to upskill and gain experience within the industry.

Standard Working Hours: 6.00AM - 2.30PM (Monday to Friday)

Skill requirement:

• Experience in hand tools and power tools
• Experience with surface preparation and spray painting
• Capable of physical and manual handling tasks
• Good work ethic and ability to work independently
• Good at following instructions and communication
• Comply with company health and safety procedure and policies
• Operate basic workshop plant and equipment
• Current drivers license and reliable transport
• Forklift licence is highly desirable
