Diesel Mechanic – Afternoon Shift ? Brooklyn

Fuse Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic for an immediate start in Brooklyn. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift Hours (Afternoon Shift):

Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Friday: 11:00am – 5:30pm

What’s on Offer:

$66 per hour + Super

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and repairs on rubbish trucks (rear lift & front lift)
Working on a variety of machinery within the waste management operation
Diagnosing faults and completing preventative maintenance

Requirements:

Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic
HR Driving Licence
Minimum 2+ years’ post-trade experience
Experience working on heavy vehicles (waste or similar highly regarded)
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Reliable and able to start ASAP
