About Us: Located in the bustling heart of Fortitude Valley within the Calile Hotel, our restaurants are renowned for exceptional cuisine, fresh ingredients, and warm hospitality. Join us in creating unforgettable dining experiences for our patrons.

Your Role: As our Pastry Chef, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary artistry in crafting exquisite desserts and pastries. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a diverse range of desserts and pastries, ensuring they align with our culinary standards and presentation guidelines

• Managing the pastry section, organising ingredients, and maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene.

• Upholding the highest standards of quality and taste in every pastry item.

• Collaborating effectively with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

• Casual - 30 to 38 hours across two venues from Tuesday to Saturday.

About You: 

• Must enjoy doing the classics

• Able to work in a small team that is part of the larger kitchen team

• Available to a combination of both lunch and dinner services

• Required to be able to work independently during prep shifts
