About Us
Prime Water Australia (part of the IMEA Group) is a leading provider of Commercial Building Servicing of Water Hydraulic services across NSW, delivering urgent repairs, routine maintenance, compliance, safety, and peace of mind to some of Australia’s most recognised organisations. We are experiencing strong growth across commercial, industrial and residential portfolios and are now seeking a motivated Pump Technician to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pump Technician/Plumber to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumping systems, water infrastructure, and plumbing equipment across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Previous pump experience is great, but it is not essential. If you are a qualified plumber with the right attitude, we can train you. You may already be working in service, construction, maintenance, industrial work, or general Plumbing — and you’re looking for something with more variety and long-term opportunity.

  • Install, service, and repair water pumps, pressure systems, hot water pumps, sewer & storm water pump sets and associated equipment.

  • Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance.

  • Carry out plumbing work in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required being part of an on call rotation team.

  • Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.

  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment.

  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support.

 Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Qualified Pump Technician/Plumber with relevant trade certification.

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

  • Current driver's licence.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Right to work in Australia

Desirable

  • Experience working with pump systems, pressure systems, or water treatment equipment.

  • Electrical disconnect/reconnect licence or basic electrical troubleshooting experience.

  • Confined space, and/or working-at-heights certifications.

  • Experience with water treatment systems.

 What We Offer

  • Competitive remuneration package.

  • Ongoing training and professional development.

  • Company vehicle, phone, and tools provided.

  • Supportive team environment.

  • Opportunities for career progression

If you have the experience and skill set we are looking for and are looking for your next challenge, send us a copy of your resume along with a cover letter outlining what makes you our candidate of choice.
