About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Transport Allocator to coordinate the movement of vehicles across our automotive operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient scheduling, timely deliveries, and optimal utilisation of transport resources.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Plan and schedule daily vehicle movements across the fleet

• Allocate jobs to drivers based on priority, location, and availability

• Monitor transport schedules and adjust in real-time to meet operational demands

• Communicate with drivers to ensure smooth pick-up and delivery operations

• Track vehicle movements and ensure adherence to schedules

• Manage and resolve transport delays or issues promptly

• Maintain accurate records of movements, logs, and compliance requirements

• Ensure all operations comply with safety and transport regulations

About You

To be successful you must possess the following:

• Previous experience in a Transport Allocator, Scheduler, or Logistics Coordinator role

• Experience within automotive, fleet, or logistics environments is highly desirable

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance standards
