About the Role
The Transport Assets & Operations branch provides high level maintenance, construction and asset management services for all road and related infrastructure assets (pavements, bridges, drainage, pathways and street furniture). Continuous performance improvement through leadership and employee engagement is a critical focus of the group.
As a Civil Field Worker you will carry out a hands-on role in delivering and maintaining efficient and effective day-to-day operation of civil maintenance and construction tasks.
You will assist in general construction, maintenance labouring tasks associated with and including truck operations, and assist the Field Leader in the supervision of tasks and the provision of on-the-job coaching as required.
You will ensure you meet obligations under the Workplace Health and Safety Act and the Environmental Protection Act.
