About the role
Are you a person who wants to be a talented chocolatier in Melbourne with a passion for creating exquisite confections? We are seeking someone who wants to work to our head chocolatier who wants a career in crafting high-quality chocolates with precision and artistry.

You will have the opportunity to work two to three days per week (with the potential to move to full time) with premium ingredients and contribute to the development of new and innovative chocolate creations. Key responsibilities

• Creating and crafting a variety of chocolate confections, such as bonbons and pralines.
• Tempering chocolate to achieve the desired texture and appearance for different types of confections.
• Molding, shaping, and decorating chocolates by hand to create visually appealing and unique designs.
• Monitoring and maintaining the quality of ingredients, ensuring freshness and consistency in the final products.
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the safety and quality of the chocolates.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge in chocolate-making.

About you

• An ability to learn chocolate-making techniques, including tempering, molding, enrobing, and decorating from our esteemed Head Chocolatier.
• An ability to work with other chocolatiers including production runs.
• Attention to detail and an ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Creativity and artistic flair in designing visually appealing chocolate creations.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet production demands and deadlines.
