GLS is seeking a Perth-based Trade Assistant for a full or part time role supporting the servicing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems. This includes assisting with inspections, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of computer-monitored emergency lighting systems. If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Requirements

Essential:

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

  • Valid WA C-Class driver’s licence

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Professional, positive attitude

  • High standard of presentation and attention to detail

  • Ability to work as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience in electrical, maintenance, or construction environments

  • Exposure to emergency lighting systems

  • Working at Heights certification

  • High Risk EWP licence

  • First Aid certification

  • Basic computer and IT skills

  • Exposure to lighting control and integration systems
