Elms electrical is a small, close-knit electrical business specialising in domestic installations, maintenance, new builds and renovations. We take pride in providing high-quality workmanship, honest communication, and great customer service. With steady work and a growing client base, we’re looking for a qualified electrician to join our team full-time. We are based in North Brisbane and most of our work is local.
About the Role
You’ll be working across a range of residential jobs — from new builds and renovations to switchboard upgrades, lighting, fault finding, and general maintenance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and values reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction. Split system air conditioning ticket is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in domestic settings
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently
Liaise with homeowners, builders, and other trades
Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS standards and safety regulations
Maintain a clean and professional work environment
Supervise apprentices when required
What We’re Looking For:
Current Electrical Licence (A-grade)
White Card and current manual driver’s licence
Own hand tools and basic power tools
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
