Job Location: Sheldon, QLD
Workfast is currently looking for reliable Waste Sorters / Pickers to join a major recycling and resource recovery facility in Sheldon, Queensland.

We are actively seeking dedicated Waste Sorters / Pickers to join our resource recovery and recycling team. You will be part of a fast-paced and safety-focused environment, helping ensure materials are sorted efficiently and operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting recyclable materials on a conveyor system
- Removing contaminants and non-recyclable waste
- Identifying and separating different waste streams
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following all site safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Supporting general housekeeping duties within the facility
- Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport (preferred)
- White Card ( Must)
- Previous experience in waste sorting, labouring, or production work (highly regarded)
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling
- Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
