ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations in Narangba, QLD. This hands-on role is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities and playing a key role in ensuring Grove’s hire assets are safe, functional, and presented to the highest quality standard.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will drive a proactive culture, improve asset quality and ensure efficient planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, schedule and prioritise maintenance activities based on operational requirements

  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to Grove Hire’s exceptional quality standards

  • Conduct quality inspections and sign-off on completed maintenance works

  • Identify asset defects, determine required repairs, coordinate and complete maintenance and retrofit works

  • Develop proactive maintenance plans and extend asset life

  • Plan, track and manage expenditure according to approved budgets

  • Manage the maintenance and yard area to the highest standards of housekeeping, organisation and efficiency

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Support safe work practices and contribute to a strong safety culture

  • Assist with duties and asset handling as required

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in a maintenance leadership role

  • Strong hands-on skills in maintenance, building or trade roles

  • Demonstrated ability to plan workloads, manage priorities and meet deadlines

  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional quality standards

  • Experience using hand and power tools

  • Ability to lead by example and take ownership
