DIDO - Electricians & HVAC

About the role

Ahrens Olympic Dam are seeking experienced Electricians and HVAC Technicians to join our BAU services team.

What we are offering:

• $57 - $63 per hour (Casual) depending on experience.

• 13:8 Roster

• Drive in / out (ex.Adelaide) or locally living at Roxby Downs.

• Shared accommodation.

Electricians (Casual)

• Respond to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components

• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs and preventative maintenance

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals

• Valid Drivers License 

• SA Electrical License (Unrestricted)

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
  

Electrician /HVACS - dual trade (Casual)

• Install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment.

• Carry out preventative maintenance on air conditioning units.

• SA Restricted Electrical License.

• Valid Refrigerant Handling License (ARCTick).

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

• Valid Driver's Licence.
  

The successful applicants will have:

• Reliable transport and the ability to travel to and from site under a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) arrangement.

• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.

• BHP Olympic Dam surface & underground experience (highly regarded).

• Working at Heights & Confined Space (highly regarded).
