About the Role

We are seeking a Tradesperson – Fitter to join our team, working both in our workshop and across client sites, including remote locations. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, commissioning, testing and repairing specialised systems such as lubrication, hydraulic, fire suppression and refuelling equipment. This is a dynamic position suited to someone who enjoys variety, technical work, and delivering high-quality outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair and maintain lubrication, hydraulic, fire suppression and refuelling systems

  • Conduct commissioning, testing and fault-finding on specialised equipment

  • Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner

  • Manage and utilise job materials efficiently to meet cost expectations

  • Deliver high-quality workmanship to minimise rework and warranty claims

  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly

  • Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures, including hazard reporting

  • Maintain tools, equipment and workspaces to a high standard

  • Support and collaborate with team members, including mentoring where required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant Trade or Engineering qualification

  • Current driver’s licence

  • Previous experience in a mechanical fitting role

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of mechanical, lubrication or hydraulic systems

  • Experience with tools, equipment and job management processes

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Strong numerical and written communication skills
