Vehicle Mechanic

We currently have an excellent opportunity available to be part of the success of the Europcar business and its subsidiary, AUS Mechanical Services throughout Western Australia. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role will see you responsible for the servicing and maintenance of the Europcar WA fleet and retail customers.

This role is NOT a FIFO role and will require the candidate to be based in Port Hedland. 

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Pre-Employment medical to include Drug and Alcohol testing.

This position will be responsible for;

• Diagnosing faults and completion of servicing and repairs

• Service and repairs of cars, commercials and light trucks

• Breakdown assistance

• Repairing and replacing of windscreens

• Tyre fitting and wheel balancing

• Creating job cards

The successful candidate will need;

• Automotive Technician Qualification (Trade Certificate)

• Motor Vehicle Repairer's Certificate (Preferred)

• Air conditioning Ticket (Preferred)

• Basic computer skills

• Unrestricted manual drivers' license (MR license preferred)

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
