Geelong Handrails & Balustrades is looking for an experienced Boilermaker / Sheetmetal Worker / Stainless Steel Welder to join our team in Moolap, Geelong.

With a steady demand and a strong pipeline of work, we are adding a full-time team member to support our stainless steel manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality work, follows clear processes, and values consistency in their day-to-day work.

Geelong Handrails & Balustrades is a specialist manufacturer and installer of stainless steel handrail and balustrade systems for residential and commercial construction projects.

We operate a clean, organised workshop with structured processes and a strong focus on:

The Role Includes:

  • Fabrication of stainless steel handrail and balustrade components

  • TIG welding and finishing of stainless steel products

  • Measuring, marking out, cutting, and preparation

  • Polishing and quality checking finished components

  • Reading and working from technical drawings

  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace

  • Working as part of a small, reliable production team

This role is both workshop & installation based depending on project requirements.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in stainless steel fabrication and TIG welding

  • Ability to work accurately from drawings and specifications

  • Pride in producing high-quality, consistent work

  • Comfortable working within established processes and standards

  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

  • Team-oriented attitude

Trade qualification is preferred but not essential for the right candidate with experience.


Requirements:

  • Current Driver’s Licence

  • White Card

  • Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential)
