CARPENTER ** Immediate Start **

Betabuild Pty Ltd is a reputable Building and Maintenance Company delivering medium to high volume Building Maintenance and Minor Works Projects in South East Queensland - North Brisbane/Ipswich/Gold Coast areas. 

Our focus is in the Government sector and to provide our valued clients with a high level of customer focus, service, and quality work. 

We are looking for a motivated and organised Carpenter who takes ownership, responsibility and pride in their work who can join our team seamlessly. Experience in Building Maintenance with a solid Carpentry trade background is required.

About the role 

• Undertake duties as assigned daily or emergency tasks 

• General repairs and maintenance throughout a broad range of areas residential and commercial properties

• Undertake all aspects of carpentry trade, fixing and finishing carpentry, ceiling repairs, door and window maintenance and make safe maintenance including upgrade works and alterations 

• You will have the support of a full-time Supervisor to call on any time for any job and any situation if required 

• No two days are alike so you will have interesting and varied work days

• Update mobile app with job details and information for further works if required

Skills and Experience 

• Must be an experienced Carpenter with general knowledge and skills with own basic hand tools/power tools/battery tools 

• Qualified Carpenter or Cert III in Carpentry and white card (both essential) 

• Multi skilled with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

• Current manual license 

• Respectful and reliable with the ability to be organised and meet deadlines and timeframes

• Strong work ethic with focus on safety and quality standards with care to deliver a quality finish every time 

• Experience with SimPRO or similar scheduling system an advantage 

• Punctual and reliable with a can-do attitude 

• Good communication skills with the ability to solve problems which arise in day-to-day jobs

• A strong understanding of building practices

• Remuneration package ($75k - $80k) base for 45 hour work week PLUS Superannuation
