Cabinetmaker – Full Time

Location: Salisbury Plains
Employment Type: Full-time (38–40 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
Salary / Rate: Competitive hourly rate + overtime opportunities + performance bonuses
Start Date: Immediate / Flexible for the right candidate
We are a well-established, respected custom cabinetry & joinery company delivering high-end residential and commercial projects across South Australia. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for a skilled Cabinetmaker / Assembler to join our close-knit workshop team.
What you'll be doing:
Reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings, plans and client specifications
Manufacturing custom cabinets, vanities, wardrobes and specialised joinery
Selecting and preparing timber, sheet materials, hardware and finishes
Operating a range of modern workshop machinery (panel saws, edge banders, CNC routers, etc.)
Hand-finishing, assembly, quality control and problem-solving on the bench
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
Mentoring apprentices when required
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as a qualified Cabinetmaker / Joiner (apprenticeship completed or equivalent)
Strong portfolio of previous work (photos welcomed with application)
High attention to detail and pride in producing top-quality craftsmanship
Competent with both traditional hand tools and modern woodworking machinery
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a small team
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Current driver's licence preferred (own transport advantageous)

Highly regarded (but not essential):
Experience with CNC programming/operation
Solid understanding of current materials (veneers, laminates,acrylics, etc.)
Previous exposure to high-end/custom/bespoke cabinetry
