Truck & Bus Wash Systems | Water Recycling Systems | Workshop Equipment
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electro-Mechanical Service Technician to join our growing service team.
This is a field-based role supporting truck and bus wash systems, water recycling plants, pumps, automation systems and workshop equipment across transport depots, fleet maintenance facilities and industrial workshops.

About the Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
· Preventative maintenance and servicing
· Electrical and mechanical fault finding
· Breakdown response and repairs
· Installation and commissioning of new equipment
· Demolition and replacement of existing systems
· Customer training and technical support
· Preparing service reports and recommendations
You will work on:
· Truck and bus wash systems
· Water recycling and filtration systems
· Pumps and pump stations
· Pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
· Electric motors and controls
· Sensors and automation systems
· PLC-controlled equipment
· Workshop service equipment
The role includes servicing and maintaining Wash systems, water recycling systems, filtration systems and sump pits. Applicants must be comfortable working in industrial environments and understand that some tasks involve hands-on maintenance and cleaning activities.
About You
You are a hands-on technician who enjoys diagnosing faults, solving problems and delivering excellent customer service.
You take ownership of your work, communicate well with customers and are comfortable working independently in the field.
Essential Skills & Experience
· Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
· Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
· Low-voltage electrical diagnostics (12VDC and 24VDC)
· Experience with sensors, photocells, limit switches and control circuits
· Experience with motors, relays, contactors and motor controls
· Knowledge of pneumatic systems and solenoid valves
· Ability to diagnose faults systematically and identify root causes
· Strong customer service and communication skills
· Ability to work autonomously and manage your workload
Highly Desirable
· Electrical Licence
· Mechatronics qualification
· Industrial automation experience
· PLC fault-finding experience
· Variable Speed Drive (VSD) experience
· Pump and water treatment experience
· Hydraulic systems experience
