Concreter and labourer

About the role

Ki-Tec Concrete Construction is seeking a skilled and dedicated Concreter's and Labourer's to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Greater Brisbane and South East QLD, offering an excellent opportunity to work on diverse concrete construction projects across the region. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality concrete work, from preparation through to finishing, contributing directly to the success of our projects and the reputation of our company.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist with formwork installation, stripping and structural preparation

2. Pouring, and finishing concrete to specified standards and designs

3. Assist during concrete pours around Laser Screeds and Total Station (training support offered)

4. Finishing concrete with walk behind trowel machines and ride-on trowel machines (training support offered)

5. Maintaining and cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure ongoing productivity and safety

6. Following detailed instructions and working collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines

7. Adhering to all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a concreter or concrete labourer, preferably within the building trades or construction industry

2. Strong understanding of concrete finishing (training support offered)

3. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and site instructions

4. Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour onsite

5. A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to different job sites across Brisbane

6. White Card (required)

7. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

9. A safety-conscious mindset with knowledge of relevant workplace health and safety standards

10. Additional tickets and truck license highly regarded

11. Any other High Risk and Construction Tickets a bonus

12. Mechanic position available too
