John Hughes Rockingham is seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Controller / Foreman to oversee daily workshop operations, support our technicians, and ensure the highest standard of service delivery. This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for someone who can balance workflow coordination with strong technical capability.
You will be responsible for the smooth, efficient, and productive operation of our workshop, ensuring jobs are allocated correctly, repairs are completed to a high standard, and the team is supported both technically and professionally.
Allocate and manage daily job flow for technicians
Lead, mentor, and support technicians and apprentices
Perform advanced diagnostics and assist with complex repairs
Conduct quality checks and ensure repair accuracy
Liaise with Service Advisors to provide accurate job updates
Maintain workshop safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards
Drive productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Qualified Automotive Technician with strong diagnostic skills
Experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, Leading Hand, or Senior Technician
Confident in managing workflow and leading a team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Current Manual WA driver’s licence
