Polpure is a leading provider of liquid waste management, environmental services and resource recovery across regional NSW. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Hydo Excavation Truck Operator to join our team.
This is a hands-on role operating modern hydro excavation tanker equipment across a diverse range of projects including industrial services, mining, liquid waste collection, environmental clean-ups, infrastructure projects, and resource recovery operations.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Operating hydro excavation vacuum tankers and associated equipment safely and efficiently
Collection, transport, and disposal of liquid and controlled waste streams
Completing vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
Maintaining accurate records, dockets, and compliance documentation
Providing professional customer service on client sites
Ensuring compliance with EPA, WHS, Chain of Responsibility, and company requirements

You enjoy physically demanding work, are highly organised with excellent time management skills, and take ownership of your responsibilities from start to finish. You are motivated to continuously improve, strive to be the best at what you do, and are committed to delivering outstanding results for both customers, you and your team. you have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Essential
Current HR Licence (minimum)
Construction White Card
Strong commitment to safety and compliance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Physically fit and willing to undertake hands-on work
Ability to pass medicals including mine medicals and induction training
Highly Regarded (but not essential)
Previous vacuum truck, tanker, liquid waste, hydro excavation, or industrial services experience
Confined Space Entry certification (or willingness to obtain)
Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
High Pressure Water Jetting experience
