About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Field Service Technician/Mechanic to join our Sydney Service Team starting January.

This is a hands-on, mobile role performing on-site servicing, repairs and maintenance of small to medium floor-cleaning machinery across the Greater Sydney region.
You will work on a variety of equipment including battery-electric, LPG and diesel-powered units—both customer-owned assets and our national rental fleet.

If you enjoy autonomy, problem-solving, and working outdoors at different sites each day, this is the perfect role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose, service and repair industrial sweepers and scrubbers

• Perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs

• Provide customer support and represent Sweepers Australia professionally on-site

• Complete job reporting via supplied tablet and service software

• Work both independently and within a supportive national service team

What We’re Looking For

Experience in any of the following is highly regarded:

• Small engine mechanic

• Mechanical fitter

• Automotive, electrical or garden equipment servicing

• Battery-electric or LPG/diesel-powered equipment

However — a mechanically minded person with a positive attitude and willingness to learn will go a long way.
Training is provided, and ongoing development is encouraged.
