HVAC-R: Airconditioning/Refrigeration Technician

About the role

We’re seeking a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in the Albury/Wodonga area. You’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the growth of our reputable company.

What you'll be doing

· Qualifications must include Refrigerant Handling License & D Permit

· Installing new refrigeration systems according to specifications and industry standards

· Performing routine maintenance and servicing on coolrooms, freezer rooms, commercial refrigeration units, ice machines and Glycol systems

· Coolroom and freezer room construction

· Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions

· Complying with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

· Formal qualification in commercial refrigeration such as a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

· Experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic, preferably in a commercial setting

· Extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems including installation, maintenance and troubleshooting

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
