About the role

Studio M for Hair and Beauty is seeking an experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our small, talented team at our East Victoria Park location. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to deliver exceptional hair services to our valued clientele.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments to a diverse clientele

2. Maintain and develop strong client relationships, ensuring consistent customer satisfaction and loyalty

3. Mentor and support junior stylists, offering guidance on techniques, client care and professional development

4. Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised workstation and salon environment

5. Manage client bookings and time efficiently to maximise productivity

6. Uphold Studio M for Hair and Beauty's commitment to outstanding customer service and professional standards

What we're looking for

1. Current or recent experience in a busy salon environment demonstrating strong technical skills across cutting, colouring and styling

2. Demonstrated ability to mentor and support less experienced team members

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

4. A creative approach to hairdressing with the ability to adapt to client needs and preferences

5. Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques and products in the industry

6. Excellent time management and organisational skills

7. Commitment to health and safety standards and salon hygiene protocols

8. Professional qualifications or certifications in hairdressing (essential)
