Superformance is looking for a passionate Custom Car Builder to join our team in Capalaba.

We specialise in building high-end custom cars, like hot rods, muscle cars and pickup trucks. Every vehicle we work on is unique, and our team is involved in transforming projects from bare metal through to completed builds.

This is not a smash repair role.
Instead, this is an opportunity to build and create cool cars every day.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working across different aspects of a build and takes pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail.

About the Role

As part of our team, you will be involved in the construction, fabrication, body shaping and assembly of custom vehicles.

Your work may include:

• Fabricating and modifying body panels and sheet metal
• Custom metal shaping and body modifications
• Structural fabrication and chassis work
• Rust repairs and restoration work
• Welding and fabrication (TIG and MIG)
• Preparing bodywork and components for paint
• Assembly and fitting of components throughout the build process
• Working with the team to bring custom vehicle projects to life

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building complete cars, the art of bodywork and custom vehicles rather than performing repetitive repair work.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for cars and building things with their hands.

Ideal qualities include:

• Strong fabrication or automotive building experience
• Interest or experience working with sheet metal
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to problem solve and think creatively
• Passion for cars, hot rods or classic vehicles
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
