Ulti-Mech Pty Ltd is a proudly WA-owned company with a strong presence across the Pilbara since 2013. We specialise in maintaining and repairing light and heavy vehicle fleets for mining, civil, and regional clients.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our Port Hedland workshop on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth.

This is a full-time, long-term role offering stability, strong hourly rates, and the opportunity to build a career — not just do swings.

What’s on Offer

Up to $65 per hour + super (based on experience)
Full-time, permanent position with consistent ongoing work
2/1 FIFO roster from Perth
Accommodation and meal allowance provided
Option to transition into a residential Pilbara role if preferred
Work in well-equipped workshops with structured systems and support
Exposure to major OEM brands including Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, Detroit, Scania, and Iveco
Access to ongoing training and upskilling opportunities
Clear career progression into HD mechanics, Leading Hand, Service Advisor, or Workshop Management roles

The Role

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of light vehicles
Perform servicing, inspections, and fault finding to a high standard
Complete job cards and maintain accurate service records
Work both independently and as part of a team
Communicate effectively with the workshop and parts departments
Follow all safety procedures and workshop standards

About You

Australian-recognised Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Minimum 3 years’ post-trade experience
Current Driver’s Licence (HR licence highly regarded)
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
Full Australian work rights
Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-first attitude
