Nature’s Care is a leading Australian company with well-known brands, an integrated business model, and a growing presence both locally and internationally. Our diverse portfolio includes supplements, cosmetics, olive oil, wine, and food products.

Our philosophy is simple – our products must be good enough for our own families. We are committed to delivering high-quality natural products, from farm to table. This principle, rooted in our family-based origins, guides everything we do across our farms, manufacturing, and the operations of a group company.

About the Role

We operate a large-scale manufacturing facility in NSW, also operating our olive farms, vineyards, and vegetable farms across the state.

These integrated operations work together to produce supplements, high-quality olive oil and fresh agricultural products supplied to our business, including manufacturing, food service, and restaurants.

We are currently seeking a Mechanic/Welder to join our team based in Hillston.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of agricultural and processing equipment across our olive orchard. This is a hands-on role suited to a mechanically minded individual who enjoys problem-solving and working in a dynamic agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair agricultural diesel machinery including olive harvesters, tractors, sprayers, pruning equipment, and supporting machinery

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults on orchard and factory equipment

  • Perform preventative maintenance programs to minimise equipment downtime during peak harvest and processing seasons

  • Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns in both orchard and processing environments

  • Carry out welding, fabrication, and metal repairs on machinery, trailers, bins, frames, guards, and agricultural infrastructure

  • Assist with the setup, calibration, and adjustment of processing equipment to support production efficiency and product quality

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and equipment documentation

  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate parts ordering as required

  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

  • Work collaboratively with farm managers, operators, and processing teams to coordinate maintenance activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Fitter, Welder, or similar

  • Experience maintaining agricultural, heavy plant, or industrial equipment

  • Strong welding and fabrication skills

  • Sound knowledge of hydraulic, diesel, mechanical, and electrical systems

  • Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs independently

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

  • Good organisational and record-keeping skills

  • Current driver's licence

  • Forklift or other relevant licences will be highly regarded

What We Offer

  • Stable, full-time employment

  • On-site accommodation available

  • Diverse and hands-on work across orchard and processing operations

  • Immediate start available

If you are a skilled mechanic with welding and fabrication experience looking for a rewarding role within a growing agricultural business, we would love to hear from you
