Qualified Diesel Machanic

We are a family-owned and operated demolition company seeking a Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We specialise in demolition projects and operate a fleet of heavy plant and equipment.

This is a long-term opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who takes pride in maintaining machinery to a high standard.

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy demolition equipment to ensure minimal downtime and safe operation across all projects.

Equipment Includes:

• Excavators

• Skid steers

• Trucks & trailers

• Loaders

• Attachments (shears, grabs, breakers etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults

• Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

• Attend site breakdowns when required

• Complete service documentation

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)

• Experience with heavy plant and hydraulic systems

• Ability to work independently

• Strong fault-finding skills

• Current driver’s licence (HR desirable)

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
