Our modern machine shop in Capalaba (Brisbane’s Bayside) produces high‑precision, tight‑tolerance components that power world‑class thermal‑management solutions.

Due to further company growth, we are seeking a full time Workshop Trade Assistant.

About the role

The role will be to work in a team environment and provide support in a range of duties to help the smooth operation of our manufacturing departments.

Performing general workshop tasks and organising tools and equipment.
Performing workshop and equipment maintenance tasks.
Supporting safe work practices by identifying and reporting potential safety or environmental hazards.
Preparing and transporting tools, fixtures, materials and work pieces.
Supporting trade persons with various tasks.
Some manual handing and heavy lifting may be involved.
Complying with Naeco’s quality procedures and ISO accredited Quality Management System.

Relevant training will be provided to the right candidate

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic team player with good written and verbal communication skills. Who also has -

A good mechanical aptitude.
A clean valid driver's licence.
Forklift licence will be highly regarded.
Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
Maintenance background would be highly regarded.

Strong commitment to safety and regulations.
A team approach and a positive outlook.

Salary will be based on experience, with super and overtime.
