Security Officer/Crowd Controller

Avatar Security is currently seeking professional and reliable Security Officers to join our team across the Melbourne region. We have multiple positions available for individuals who are customer-focused, well-presented, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Successful applicants will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate professionalism at all times, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Applicants must be available to work rotating rosters, including weekends, night shifts, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and manage sign-in/sign-out procedures

• Maintain accurate visitor and site records

• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and security equipment

• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns

• Ensure the safety and security of people and property

• Liaise with management, emergency services, and relevant authorities when required

• Answer telephone enquiries professionally

• Prepare detailed reports and complete incident documentation

Essential Requirements

• Current Victorian Security Licence

• Certificate II in Security Operations

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence

• Full working rights in Australia

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Professional presentation and customer service skills

• Ability to work within a team environment
