We are seeking an experienced and motivated Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our team, working on the manufacture and delivery of premium custom metalwork for high-end residential construction projects.

This hands-on role requires a skilled tradesperson with strong fabrication experience across stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium. You will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, fabricating components to precise specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication and welding using TIG and MIG processes.

  • Work with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium.

  • Prepare, process, cut, shape, bend, join, and finish metal components.

  • Operate a variety of hand tools and workshop machinery safely and effectively.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Manufacture products to strict tolerances (±2mm).

  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure finished products meet project requirements.

  • Work independently and collaboratively within a skilled fabrication team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent).

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in metal fabrication and welding.

  • Proven TIG and MIG welding experience.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret workshop drawings.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship.

  • Ideally own their own vehicle with full drivers licence (not essential but preferred)
