About the Role:

As an Automotive Technician, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the high standards Preston Mazda is known for. You’ll diagnose, service and repair vehicles while delivering quality workmanship and supporting an efficient workshop operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, service and repair vehicles in line with manufacturer standards
Complete servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently and accurately
Carry out repairs across engines, transmissions, suspension and vehicle systems
Maintain repair quality and workshop safety standards
Support workshop productivity and contribute to team performance

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:20pm, plus one Saturday per fortnight (8:00am – 12:00pm).

About You:

Qualified Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician (or 4th year apprentice considered)
Current driver’s licence
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Mazda or dealership experience is advantageous but not essential
