Due to a solid pipeline of projects, we are seeking a motivated, fully qualified Carpenter to join our professional team. About the role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Carpenter to join our team. This role involves a combination of commercial and residential carpentry work including manufacturing joinery, cabinets, foyers as well as installation of hoardings, cladding and architraves etc.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Perform all aspects of carpentry from framing to lock-up and fix.
Read and interpret building plans and specifications.
Ensure all work complies with Victorian building regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site.
Liaise with clients, site managers, and subcontractors in a professional manner.
Mentor apprentices
Duties
Exposure to diverse commercial carpentry projects
Timber & steel framing
Internal and external wall claddings
Manufacture and install of various types of doors & windows
Heritage restoration works
Undertake defect work to fix existing fittings
What You Need to Succeed (Requirements)
Trade Certificate/Qualified Carpenter: Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent.
Experience: Proven experience in Residential/Commercial/Maintenance work.
Licencing: Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
Tools: Comprehensive hand/power tools.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
Must have drivers’ licence and own reliable vehicle
Must have valid working rights in Australia.
Must have a Working with children Check
