Junior Cabinet Vision Draftsman

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cabinet Vision Draftsman to join our growing joinery team in a full-time, in-house position.

The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of detailed shop drawings for custom kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, laundries, and bespoke joinery projects. This role offers the opportunity to further develop your skills within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise shop drawings using Cabinet Vision.

• Interpret architectural plans, site measurements, and design documentation.

• Assist with the development of production-ready drawings.

• Liaise with project managers, production staff, and installers to ensure project requirements are met.

• Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and aligned with manufacturing requirements.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience using Cabinet Vision is essential.

• Minimum 1-2 years of Cabinet Vision experience required.

• Basic to intermediate understanding of joinery construction and manufacturing processes.

• 1-2 years of joinery industry experience required.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Must have Australian work rights.

Eagerness to learn and develop within the joinery industry.

While this is a junior position, applicants should have a solid understanding of Cabinet Vision and the fundamentals of joinery drafting. We are looking for someone who can think logically, work through problems, and contribute to projects with confidence while continuing to develop their skills.
