The Opportunity

Superior Kitchens and Joinery, a leading provider of high-quality kitchen and joinery solutions, is seeking a skilled and motivated Factory Manager?Cabinetmaker/Joiner to join our experienced team. This is a full-time position based in our state-of-the-art facility in Smithfield, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Fabricate and install custom cabinetry, built-in furniture, and other joinery products to client specifications

  2. Operate power tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials

  3. Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise workmanship

  4. Collaborate with the design team to provide input and recommendations on product design and constructability

  5. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols

  6. Assist with the loading, unloading, and delivery of finished products to client sites

  7. Moderate lifting capability is required for handling materials and finished products

  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality

  9. Experience in Mozaik, 3D Kitchen, Auto Cad programming

  10. Forklift Licence

What We're Looking For

  1. Formal qualification in Cabinetmaking or Joinery, or a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience

  2. Relevant experience must be specifically in kitchen or furniture manufacturing

  3. Proficient in the use of power tools and woodworking machinery, with a strong attention to detail

  4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications

  5. Knowledge of cabinet and furniture construction techniques, including the use of various joinery methods

  6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  7. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients

  8. Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment

  9. Australian citizenship is required for this position
