HYDRAULIC TECHNICIAN

We are an established earthmoving attachments and hydraulic installations company - and service the best of Australia's blue chip OEM's. Due to increased opportunities, we are seeking a trade qualified and experienced Fitter to join our dynamic team.

The successful applicant will have a mechanical background with hydraulic skills, across a wide range of earthmoving machinery and attachments. Experience on construction machinery and the ability to install auxiliary hydraulic systems as well as competency with electrical control systems and components will be highly regarded.

Either earthmoving machinery experience or general hydraulic experience will be considered for this position.

Our applicant must have experience but be willing and open to learn more, both as a team player and have the ability to work unsupervised and independently.

Skills and experience required:

Relevant trade certificate

Any mechanical trade qualification will be accepted for this role.

Experience in Hydraulics

A minimum of 1-2 years of hydraulics experience is required.

Knowledge of hydraulic hose and fittings

Attention to detail and quality workmanship- majority of work is on new machines

Attention to required installation documents

Ability to install auxiliary hydraulic systems to earthmoving equipment

Ability and flexibility to work overtime and or travel when necessary

Take pride in work and vehicle

Be able to work unsupervised

Good mechanical aptitude

Excellent diagnosis and fault finding ability

Ability to undergo random drug, alcohol and medical checks.
