Civil Pipe Layer

About the role

Join Menai Civil as a Pipe Layer based in the Sydney Northwest and South Coast region. This is a full-time position that will see you play a crucial role in the construction of essential civil residential sub-division projects.

What you'll be doing

• Install pipes for stormwater, sewer, and water mains according to project specifications

• Prepare trenches for pipe installation, ensuring accurate depth and alignment

• Backfill trenches and complete restoration works

• Connect pipes, fittings, and related components using appropriate tools and methods

• Installation of pipes to ensure they meet required standards

• Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols

• Collaborate with site Supervisor to ensure the successful completion of projects

What we're looking for

• A current NSW driver’s license

• A valid White Card

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pipe laying of storm water and sewer pipes

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and plans

• Punctual, reliable, and able to work both in a team and independently

• Excavator VOC highly regarded
