About the role
Join Menai Civil as a Pipe Layer based in the Sydney Northwest and South Coast region. This is a full-time position that will see you play a crucial role in the construction of essential civil residential sub-division projects.
What you'll be doing
Install pipes for stormwater, sewer, and water mains according to project specifications
Prepare trenches for pipe installation, ensuring accurate depth and alignment
Backfill trenches and complete restoration works
Connect pipes, fittings, and related components using appropriate tools and methods
Installation of pipes to ensure they meet required standards
Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols
Collaborate with site Supervisor to ensure the successful completion of projects
What we're looking for
A current NSW driver’s license
A valid White Card
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pipe laying of storm water and sewer pipes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and plans
Punctual, reliable, and able to work both in a team and independently
Excavator VOC highly regarded
