Joiner

We are an established commercial Joinery Company located in Seven Hills, looking for a detailed joiner to join our factory team.

We work on custom joinery and take pride in doing the complex, unique and hard to do items of joinery that other shops may not take on.

This is not just a role where you are doing the same basic boxes every day. The work is different, detailed and challenging. If you are the type of joiner who likes thinking through a job, working out the best way to do something, and standing back at the end of it proud of what you have built, this is the sort of workshop you should want to be in.

We have been established for 6 years and we are stable. We can provide long term employment, and our goal is to bring someone into the team who wants to grow with the business.

We are not looking for someone who just wants a quick job. We want someone who wants to be part of what we are building. Someone who wants to settle into a good team, take ownership of their work, and have a real future with the company.

Because of that, we believe in paying well for skills and experience.

If you are good at what you do, you should be paid properly. If you can be trusted with detailed work, think for yourself, and help produce a high level of joinery, we value that.

Our team is diverse, with team members who have strong and different experience across the trade. We believe in sharing knowledge and we do not believe that one way of doing something is always the right way.

There is zero ego here.

We all learn from each other. Some days you might show someone a better way to do something, and other days someone else might show you. That is the type of workshop we are building.

We are looking for a detailed joiner who is confident with veneer and laminating, detailed curves, custom work, and the sort of joinery that needs care and thought.

You need to be able to think outside the box. Not every job is straightforward, and not every answer is sitting in front of you. We want someone who can look at a job, think through the details, and work out how to get it done properly.

The role is factory based.

You will be working with the team, but you also need to be confident running projects on your own when needed. We want someone who is happy to work with others, but also has the confidence and skill to take ownership of a job and push it through.

The right person for us will be someone who:
