About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Business Machine Technician to join our growing team. This role involves servicing, testing, tagging, maintaining, and repairing commercial cleaning equipment and machinery across various client sites throughout South Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently while providing technical support and advice to users.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, examine, and test machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults.

• Perform Test & Tag inspections in accordance with Australian standards.

• Repair, maintain, and service commercial cleaning machines and equipment.

• Adjust, repair, and replace worn or defective mechanical and electrical components.

• Reassemble, test operate, and calibrate equipment following repairs.

• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.

• Travel to client sites across South Australia to carry out repairs and servicing.

• Advise staff and clients on the correct operation and maintenance of equipment to prevent malfunctions.

• Maintain accurate service records and reports.

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Current Test and Tag qualification (essential).

• Proven experience repairing and servicing commercial cleaning machines and equipment.

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.

• Ability to work independently and manage service schedules.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

• Ability to travel to various sites throughout South Australia.
