About the role
  
Reporting to the Assessing Team Leader – Technical Lead and Virtual Support you will be responsible for providing on-site and virtual quality, safety, rectification, and recovery assurance across Home Repair’s trade network. The role supports repair delivery, rectification, and recovery outcomes by conducting quality assessments and attending customer properties for dual assessments where required.
  
Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site and virtual quality and safety assessments
  • Review workmanship and compliance against agreed scopes and standards
  • Complete make-safe quality assessments
  • Attend customer properties for dual assessments in rectification scenarios
  • Provide oversight for repairs exceeding $50,000
  • Ensure quality governance of roof replacements and complex repairs
  • Support the Assessing space through either on site Assessing or Virtual Assessing to uplift event response through periods of high volume

  
Skills & experience
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (such as building, construction, or inspection credentials) essential
  • Extensive experience in home repair, construction, or property assessment, with strong knowledge of quality assurance and compliance standards
  • Capacity to manage high-value and high-risk repairs, maintaining strict governance and oversight
  • Ability to support procurement, onboarding, and training of new trade partners, ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Flexibility to respond to high-volume events and provide support across regional locations as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, trade partners, and team members
