Responsibilities:

•       Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in European and prestige vehicles using specialised diagnostic equipment and manufacturer specifications.

•       Inspecting, dismantling and removing engines, transmissions, steering systems, suspension components, braking systems and other vehicle assemblies to identify defects and determine repair requirements.

•       Repairing or replacing worn, damaged and defective parts and reassembling vehicle components in accordance with manufacturer standards and workshop procedures.

•       Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance, including oil and filter changes, fluid replacements, brake servicing, engine tune-ups and vehicle inspections.

•       Testing, adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electrical systems following repairs to ensure optimal performance, reliability and safety.

•       Using computerised diagnostic tools to identify faults, assess vehicle performance and verify repair outcomes.

•       Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections and identifying repairs required to meet roadworthiness and safety standards.

•       Identifying and sourcing suitable replacement components required for repairs to European and prestige vehicles.

•       Liaising with customers and workshop staff regarding vehicle issues, repair recommendations, service requirements and the progress of repair work.

•       Preparing and maintaining accurate service records, repair reports and maintenance recommendations.
