About the Role

We are an established manufacturing team in Thomastown with a rock-solid, long-term pipeline of work. We specialise in furniture and detailed joinery.

To maintain our premium craftsmanship standards, we are seeking a skilled, experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our factory production team. This is a stable, permanent role for a trade professional who takes pride in their work and wants a consistent, supportive Monday-to-Friday routine. We require an experienced tradesperson, this is not an entry or trainee position.

What’s on Offer:

  • Strong Hourly Rate: $35 – $40 per hour, scaled directly to your experience and capabilities.

  • True Work-Life Balance: Consistent 38-hour week, day shift only, with a reliable weekend every week.

  • Job Security: Permanent, long-term position backed by a steady stream of incoming projects.

  • Excellent Facilities: A well-equipped, organized factory environment in Thomastown with hassle-free, on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication & Assembly: Constructing and assembling cabinetry and detailed furniture components.

  • Machinery & Tools: Safely and efficiently operating standard factory machinery, power tools, and hand tools.

  • Quality Control: Inspecting your own work to ensure every piece meets our strict quality standards before it moves off the factory floor.

  • Team Collaboration: Working effectively alongside our production team to hit project timelines smoothly.

Technical Skills & Experience Required:

Please Note: This is not an entry-level or trainee position. We are looking for a capable tradesperson who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

  • Proven Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience working in a factory joinery, cabinet making, or furniture manufacturing environment (Trade Qualification is highly regarded, but equivalent proven experience is welcome).

  • Precision & Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for alignment, flush finishes, and overall structural integrity.

  • Reliability: A rock-solid work ethic, excellent punctuality, and a collaborative team attitude.

To Apply:

If you have the trade experience we are looking for and are ready to secure a stable, long-term role with a great team, please apply and submit your updated resume.
