Qualifications & experience
MUST hold relevant licences and certifications required to operate as a Motor Mechanic in the relevant state or territory.
Certificate 4 and Diploma in Motor Mechanics are required from Australia.
4 or more years’ experience as a qualified motor mechanic
Excellent communication skills, time management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment, but also unsupervised
MUST be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day duties

Tasks & responsibilities
Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on customer vehicles, and inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates
Identifying mechanical faults as well as issues with vehicle stability and tyre wear.
Performing all tasks relating to tyres and wheel/suspension services. perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups.
Provide professional advice and report potential hazards / dangerous risks found on customer vehicles.
Safely Operating hoist and conducting road tests as required and diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers.
Detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts and reassemble engines and parts after being repaired
Dismantle and remove engines, systems and other components, and checking parts
