Sheet Metal Fabricator- TIG Welder- Full-time position

Our client, a leading Stainless Steel Fabricator located in Northern Suburbs and  is now on  the lookout  for experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their team. 

Role will consist of the manufacturing of- refrigerated display, display cabinets, supermarket showcases, deli counters, butcher displays and other refrigeration equipment. The role requires interpreting technical drawings, operating sheet metal machinery, and ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal components according to design requirements.

• Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, punches, and CNC machinery.

•  Trade qualification in Sheet Metal Work, Metal Fabrication, or equivalent apprenticeship.

•  Experience working with stainless steel, tig welding required.

• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools.

•  Proficiency in welding and sheet metal fabrication techniques.

•  Knowledge of refrigeration cabinet construction is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
