We are a warm, busy family of five looking for a proactive and warm Nanny/House Manager to become a part of our household.


THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working 20–30 hours per week over 2–3 days and be looking for a long-term role.

The role involves:
- caring for and engaging with 1-3 children (toddler-early primary) when they are home
- assisting with meal/snack preparation and cooking
- following children's routines and facilitating age-appropriate learning and milestones like toilet training
- maintaining and organising rooms, play spaces and other areas including tidying up after use
- undertaking household tasks such as laundry, ironing, dishes and undertaking household errands like grocery run
- working in a sole and shared care capacity when children are home or attending activities like playgroup
- travelling with the family as required

ABOUT YOU
You are:
- someone genuine and a natural communicator seeking the same in an employer
- warm, proactive, reliable and easy-going with proven experience in a similar role
- comfortable working in a sole or shared care capacity with the parent/s and equally comfortable undertaking home management and house keeping in child-free time
- comfortable working in a household with dogs
The ideal candidate must possess a current WWCC, police check, driver's licence, first aid certification and have a right to work long-term in Victoria.
An early childhood/teaching qualification is preferred, but not essential.

PAY
$48 per hour inclusive
